Our computerised system enables practice members to offer you an appointment quickly and accurately.
You can book appointments, order your repeat prescriptions, and view your medical record online. First time users are required to complete a simple registration. Please come into the surgery to complete an application form. Please bring with you Acceptable Identity Evidence. Due to the varying time allocations of nurse procedures all appointments with a nurse should be made via telephone with our reception staff.
The surgery offers GP appointments up to 19:30hrs on a Wednesday and Thursday evening and also from 07:00hrs on Tuesday mornings.
Referrals for Further Care
If you require advice please speak to our reception staff. They are highly trained and will treat you very professionally. A brief explanation of the type of service you need from us will help them to direct you to the most appropriate person.
If you and your GP decide that you need to see a specialist for further treatment, you can now choose where to have your treatment from a list of hospitals or clinics.
This is known as Choose and Book.

During the month of April, 21 GP appointments (4.5 hours) were wasted at Broken Cross by patients failing to attend their appointment.
If you cannot attend an appointment for any reason please inform us as soon as possible in order for us to give the slot to someone else. If you do not attend your appointment and do not inform us then an informal warning letter will be sent to you advising you that a further occurrence could risk removal from the practice.
