When We Are Closedtelephone_brown

If you have an urgent healthcare problem when the surgery is closed and your problem cannot safely wait until the next routine surgery, please telephone the GP out-of-hours service by dialing 111.

This service is held at Macclesfield District General Hospital next to the A&E department.

The centre operates from 18:30 - 08:00 Monday to Thursday and from 18:00 on Friday until 08:00 on Monday.

Out-of-hours services are generally busy so please think carefully before asking to see a doctor and only do so if you genuinely cannot wait until the surgery re-opens.

In a genuine emergency you should call 999.

Chest pains and / or shortness of breath constitute an emergency.
