Repeat Prescriptions

Repeat prescription means a prescription for medication which is listed on your prescription multicolour_pillscounterfoil. If it isn't listed, it is not a repeat prescription.

Requests for repeat prescriptions can be made in the following ways:

  • Online - First time users are required to complete a simple registration. Please come into the surgery to complete an application form. Please bring with you Acceptable Identity Evidence.
  • By post - send it in with a stamped addressed envelope if you want us to post it back to you.
  • In person - hand your repeat counterfoil to your local pharmacist with the required items clearly marked

We are unable to accept requests for prescriptions over the telephone.

Medication Reviews

Patients on repeat medication will be asked to see a doctor, nurse practitioner or practice nurse at least once a year to review these regular medications and notification should appear on your repeat slip. Please ensure that you book an appropriate appointment to avoid unnecessary delays to further prescriptions.

48_hoursPlease allow two full working days for prescriptions to be processed and remember to take weekends and bank holidays into account.
