Dr Ian Collyer

MA (Oxon), BM, BCh, MRCGP, PG Cert GP

Special Interests: Minor Surgery, Heart Disease, non surgical cosmetics & ENTTop_of_Lingmoor.JPG

After qualifying from Oxford University in 1996, Dr Collyer worked in hospitals throughout Manchester and Cheshire before travelling to New Zealand where he worked in A&E.

On his return, he became a partner at Broken Cross Surgery in 2002 with a specialist interest in Dermatology, Minor Surgery, Ear, Nose and Throat medicine, IT and non-surgical cosmetics.

He is married with two children and, when not in the surgery, enjoys being on top of mountains!

Dr Rachel Stone

MBChB, BSc (Hons), MRCGP, DRCOG, DFFP, LoC IUT000_0017.jpg, CIDC.

Special Interests: Diabetes, Chronic Disease management & Women's Health

After qualifying from Leeds Medical School in 2004, Dr Stone completed her GP training in Bristol and the rural south west.  She then worked as a locum GP in Cheshire and South Manchester for several years before joining Broken Cross Surgery part time in 2011.

As well as general practice, Dr Stone has interests in Diabetes, Women's Health and Contraception.  She is experienced in fitting IUDs and the Contraceptive Implant.

When not working at the surgery, Dr Stone enjoys dancing.

Dr Madeleine Bennett

BSc MBChB, MRCGP, DFSRH


Special Interests: Sexual and Reproductive Health


After qualifying from the University of Liverpool in 2010, Dr Bennett worked in various hospitals in the Lake District before undertaking GP training in Macclesfield.


Dr Bennett has a special interest in Women's health, Contraception and Palliative Care.


Dr Bennett is married with one child and in her spare time enjoys baking and walking her dog.


Dr Daniel Harle

Special Interest: Substance Misuse, Minor Surgery, Sports Medicine


After qualifying from the University of East Anglia in 2008, Dr Harle completed his General Practice training locally in the Cheshire area. He spent 4 years working as a Partner in General Practice in Knutsford before returning to his home town of Macclesfield to work.


As well as General Practice Dr Harle has interests in Sport and Exercise Medicine, Minor Surgery and Substance Misuse.
